Tear Strength PN EN ISO 13937-2:2002

This test measures the force required to tear the fabric.

A trouser-shaped specimen is cut from the fabric sample (with a slit along its centre), and the force required to continue the tear is measured.

This test determines how durable and resilient the fabric is in terms of its resistance to tearing.
